DEDICATED TO MY FREIND PETE WAGNER"Pete’s character and journey exemplify Cowboy grit, determination & perseverance. Everyone of us has challenges and obstacles in life and Pete's story will inspire you to keep pushing and never give up."Funerals & Memorials As many of you know, Pete passed away early in the morning on Friday, January 8th. Pete suffered a heart attack the previous weekend and underwent surgery, but sadly experienced a second heart attack that he was not able to recover from. He was comforted in the hospital by his daughter, Alysa, inhis last few days.Pete faced many obstacles throughout his life. He was diagnosed with diabetes during his childhood, periodically suffered blindness in one eye, paralysis in certain body parts, survived ventricular reconstruction, along with right ventricle, kidney, liver and pancreas transplants, rendered paraplegic and the amputation of his left leg. However, in spite of all the physical obstacles he faced, he continued to persevere. Always with positivity and kindness to others. Those that knew Pete, knew he had two loves. First his daughter, Alysa, who was his world. She was a miracle baby, who defied all odds, as doctors didn't believe Pete would be able to have children. Second, his love for everything country music, especially as a singer and songwriter. Pete was a genuine man and a true cowboy, both at heart and in real life. If you were fortunate enough to hear him sing, which many of us were, I'd like to imagine he left an imprint on your heart, as he did mine. Pete was born August 10, 1971 in Omaha, NE. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Wagner and his mother, Sharon Bonacci. Survived by brother, Ross Lorello; sister Tamara Taylor; and daughter, Alysa Wagner. Let's continue to celebrate Pete's life together. Please share your memories, pictures, and videos, so we can all remember and cherish the person he was. If you knew Pete, you couldn't dispute how much he touched the lives of everyone around him. Now, it's our turn to give back and help Alysa as she deals with the loss of her father. We are raising money for memorial and funeral costs to assist his daughter as she deals with this loss. If you are financially able, please consider donating to this cause, no amount is too small. https://gofund.me/febc9093Resources:TEAM FUNDRAISER Mika Yonamine, Akin Yonamine, and Amanda Plantz are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Alysa Wagner.*The above copy was taken from the Go-Fund Me Page.Music:“The Ropin Pen” By: Trent Willmonhttps://trentwillmon.com/MC Podcast Production & Editing: Tyler Hillenbrand@tyhbrand

It was an honor to have Arizona's Sheriff Lamb on the Podcast. The United States of America needs more leaders like him.Sheriff Mark Lamb was elected in 2016 as Pinal County's 24th Sheriff to lead Pinal County's finest with a vision to better the status of Law Enforcement in Pinal County, and ultimately be an example for other agencies in Arizona and the United States of America by doing the following:Foster positive working relationships with county officialsProvide financial transparency to establish a realistic budgetImprove deputy pay to retain and recruit quality employeesContinue to crack down on criminal activity with a focus on stopping the drug flow into Pinal CountyChange the perception of Law Enforcement within our communitiesLead by example"The safety of the people who live and do business in Pinal County is my highest priority. We are one of the fastest growing regions in the United States of America with approximately 450,000 residents in an area approximately the size of the State of Connecticut. While the county is not on the U.S. Mexico border, it is a pass-thru county and vulnerable to smuggling and trafficking activities that come from reservation territory that reaches from Mexico into Pinal County."Sheriff Lamb has proven his ability to work with local, State and Federal agencies to coordinate the necessary resources to fight these illegal activities that would harm our county and our communities. "We've done a lot of good things, and will continue to find new ways to improve the safety of our county, making it an even more attractive place for good people and business to call their home. If you like what you see, I ask for your continued support and vote." - Sheriff Mark LambResources:https://www.instagram.com/americansheriff/https://www.sherifflamb.com/Show Sponsors:https://www.instagram.com/tommyhawksaxehouse/www.tommyhawks.nethttps://www.instagram.com/thecowlot/https://thecowlot.com/Show Music:“The Ropin Pen” By: Trent Willmonhttps://trentwillmon.com/“Cowboy” By: Kolt Barberhttps://www.koltbarber.com/MC Podcast Production & Editing: Matt Kirschnerhttps://www.instagram.com/mattjkirschner/

I always enjoy talking with horseman and Bens story is one of a kind.Ben Longwell owns and operates True West Horsemanship, based most of the year in New Zealand.Ben grew up on the Western Slope of Colorado, riding horses and working cattle. After finishing school, he spent much of his time doing day work for different ranches in the area, learning from the experience of the ranchers. He also spent a year working as assistant trainer at a Quarter Horse breeder in Colorado, learning the basics of colt starting and true horsemanship.Much of the next six years was spent in the colt starting & horse training business and his knowledge and experience continued to expand. During this time Ben worked on a 300,000 acre cattle & horse ranch in Wyoming, where he was also involved in conducting horsemanship clinics and demonstrations.Adding to a lifetime of practical equine experience, he is influenced by the methods of such horsemen as Tom & Bill Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and Buck Brannaman and has ridden with Richard Caldwell, Jeff Sanders, Martin Black and Dave Weaver. In 2011, Ben and his wife Natalie moved to her native country of New Zealand and took the opportunity to build a horse training and clinic business. Since then, Ben has been privileged to be a returning Clinician at NZ’s national horse expo seven different years. In 2014 Ben was invited to participate in New Zealand’s first Kaimanawa Stallion Challenge – where trainers were randomly given a Kaimanawa Stallion straight from the wild and competed in 2 stages of competition.Ben has appeared in and written for a number of Equine Magazines, both in New Zealand and internationally, as well as appearing in an episode of Masterclass on Country TV. He also has an Online Video Library that contains a wide range of instructional videos for advancing students’ skills and horsemanship regardless of discipline or breed.Resources:@true_west_horsemanshiptruewesthorsemanship.comTikTok: @truewesthorsemanshipPhoto Credit: Debby ThomasShow Sponsors:@tommyhawksaxehousewww.tommyhawks.net@thecowlotwww.thecowlot.comShow Music:“The Ropin Pen” By: Trent Willmonhttps://trentwillmon.com/“Cowboy” By: Kolt Barberhttps://www.koltbarber.com/MC Podcast Production & Editing: Matt Kirschnerhttps://www.instagram.com/mattjkirschner/
